The Camp Bullis Transportation Management Plan (TMP) comprises a set of efforts to identify strategic actions necessary to meet current needs at the installation, as well as to prepare for future growth. A traffic engineering study was undertaken as part of this plan to assess current road and traffic patterns at the installation and determine current capabilities. This report summarizes those efforts and provides recommendations for short-term solutions to existing problems as well as long-term solutions for accommodating future developments at the installation.
Camp Bullis is an installation approximately 28,000 acres in size and is primarily made up of ranges and training areas. This TMP focuses on the cantonment area–the administrative hub of the installation–located in the southwestern corner. It provides additional recommendations for enhancing the efficiency of moving service members from the cantonment area to the ranges for training duties.
