This 21,259 SF addition to Evans Army Community Hospital at Ft. Carson, CO functions as the Administrative Office Building and is utilized to relocate and consolidate administrative functions out of hospital space. In keeping with the established architectural theme of the Evans Army Hospital and Clinics, the new SFCC Addition borrows the architectural vocabulary while paying homage to the existing facility. The placement of the new facility creates a natural “outdoor” room which has been utilized for the therapeutic healing garden. The healing garden has been designed as a free-flowing form to create a warm and inviting space. Included in the garden are benches and a water feature.
